Simon Says, "What the WHAT?"

Before bed tonight, Noah asked to play a game. I looked at the clock and it was 7:55 and their bedtime is 8 on school nights, so I decided a quick game of Simon Says would have to do. We went through the usual..." Simon says, 'jump up and down' ; Simon says, 'Stop'; Simon says, 'hop like a frog'..."

And at 8:01, just for grins and giggles, I threw in, "Simon says, 'Go brush your teeth' ". And, still-giggling, they happily did as they were told.

Dumb-founded, I said, " Simon says, 'Go to bed' ". They did that too.

I'm going to enjoy this because I am pretty sure it is a one-shot deal.

Simon says, "Relax, Jennifer, the kids are in bed."
